Tokyo-based contemporary furniture brand Tone (produced by design company Mesmerism Inc.) is pleased to present their second collection exhibition, titled “Crevice” The exhibition will be held from Friday, February 2nd to Monday, February 5th, 2024, at Shibuya SACS. The second collection by chief designer Taku Wada, who has been redefining furniture from an architectural perspective since his first collection in 2022, consists of seven pieces making up a lounge and dining set. Both sets are crafted from ruggedly cut Japanese cypress - a type of wood also commonly used for buildings - and express the extraordinary detail present in even the most mundane of Tokyo everyday life.
The opening reception will be held on Friday, February 2nd from 6pm-10pm. Light food (by Chillmatic) and drinks will be served, and it is open to the public.
