Design Museum Japan has asked 13 internationally acclaimed Japanese creators to highlight and study objects and items in 13 parts of Japan dating from around 10,000 years ago in the prehistoric Jomon period up to the present. Images of these objects and items have been brought together and presented to us through the lens of design.
