This exhibition presents an overview of the history of images of dinosaurs and other ancient creatures, from the bizarre reconstructions of the 19th century, when dinosaurs were "discovered," to the vivid paintings of the 20th century by Charles R. Knight and Zdenek Briand, which depict dinosaurs in motion, to images that have appeared in subcultures such as comic books and toys and in the field of fine art. The exhibition also includes an overview of the history of images of dinosaurs and other ancient creatures and introduces the inhabitants of the ancient world that continue to stimulate people's imaginations.
