Hisashi Eguchi
Hisashi Eguchi, a manga artist and illustrator, continues to convey the charm of the city of Tokyo and its people by vividly depicting the city and the moments of the people who shine within it. Eguchi’s exhibition is a part of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya celebrating its 5th anniversary.
This exhibition will unveil a new work of "her" standing in the streets of Hibiya, newly drawn for the exhibition at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, as well as many original artworks for the first time using Pantone overlay, Eguchi's favorite art medium in the 80s and 90s.
During the exhibition period, there will also be an autograph session, “Live Sketching," in which Eguchi himself will draw a portrait of the subject on the spot, and a "workshop" where he will teach tips on how to draw illustrations.
