The National Crafts Museum presents a variety of exhibitions, which include not only Japanese crafts but also works from the museum collection by foreign artisans and designers. The collection contains approximately 180 crafts from other countries and roughly 300 design works.

This exhibition focuses on works by foreign artists from the museum’s holdings that have rarely been displayed in the past. This is an opportunity to consider how crafts and design are related to the history and climate of the places from which they emerge.
