Eri Wakiyama
The work of artist and illustrator Eri Wakiyama work, in which her signature fairy-like characters appear in dreamlike situations, evokes a variety of emotional responses in the viewer (imagination, discovery, friendship, conflict, and loneliness). Based in New York, Wakiyama has held many solo exhibitions while also participating in various group shows. In recent years, she is known for her collaborations with international fashion brands, including Heaven by Marc Jacobs. Her illustrations for major fashion magazines are also gaining popularity. A reception will be held on the opening day of the exhibition, Saturday, March 18, from 7:00 pm with guest DJs Eriko Nakao and Yoon of Ambush®.
