Félix Vallotton (1865-1925) was born in Lausanne, Switzerland, and was active in Paris at the end of the 19th century as part of the avant-garde artist group "Les Nabis." In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the artist's death, this Small Gallery will introduce some of Vallotton's representative prints of interiors from the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum,Tokyo of Art's Collection. While viewing related works from the same period, we will focus on the various motifs of interiors depicted by Vallotton and unravel the artist's hidden intentions in his works.
