Gawako
Gawako is an illustrator who draws narrative worlds with bold lightness, darkness, and contrast. She has created numerous music video illustrations, costume designs for games, and character designs, and in 2023 she attracted attention for her participation in the "100 Artists 13" exhibition.
This solo exhibition commemorates the release of her first book "Emergence" (published by Genkosha), scheduled for release on October 16 (Mon). It will feature 49 works, including newly drawn works based on the theme of "emergence" from the book.
The exhibition will also feature a selection of exclusive products, such as high-resolution canvas art with acrylic frames and stylish acrylic carabiners for daily use, which will further enhance the appeal of the works. In addition, on October 21 (Sat), Gawako will visit the exhibition and hold an autograph session exclusively for those who have purchased colored papers.
The venue will have a chic atmosphere reminiscent of a hospital room, in reference to the title of the exhibition.
