As part of the project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Shigeru Mizuki, the creator of "Gegege no Kitaro,” visitors can enjoy the fascination of the original works that the anime "Gegege no Kitaro" has transmitted over the past half century with works by artists and creators from a wide variety of industries and purchase the exhibited works (except for some works).
The event will feature Ai Madonna, who has attracted attention for her live painting mainly in Akihabara and has been active in exhibitions and events in Japan and abroad; Ayako Ishiguro, who has drawn various "monsters" as a picture book artist; and Shigeru Mizuki, who has been a fan since his childhood and has created "Onikin no Reijutetsu" and "Dekinomogura". Kaoru Mitsumune, a past AKB48 member who now draws fantastic insects and imaginary creatures using a wide range of art materials including pencils, watercolors, and oil paints, and also worked on the popular manga "Jigoku Sensei Nube" which has also been made into an anime, and is a character designer for the anime "Escape from the Greatest Mission. In addition, many illustrators and manga artists will participate in the exhibition, including manga artist Tsuyoshi Okano, who is also in charge of character planning for the anime "The Great Escape Mission". He is also a self-taught animation creator and director of the TV animation series "Ikimono-san."
