Hanae Mori
Hanae Mori, a fashion designer from Yoshika Town, Shimane Prefecture, who passed away in August this year, was active on the world stage for more than 70 years since the 1950s and was an artist with many fans around the world. The Iwami Art Museum in Shimane has been a longtime supporter of Mori.
In mourning the passing of Hanae Mori, this exhibition will introduce her wide-ranging activities through her work and materials in the museum collection and her relationship with the Iwami Art Museum, Shimane.
