In 1978, Hidenori Arai released Gankutsu Hotel, a notable work. In 2021, Arai published a comprehensive photo book with previously unreleased content. This exhibition showcases 41 original prints that provide a closer and more detailed view of the subject than the photo book. Arai's photos capture the enigmatic allure of caves dug by human hands and the Earth's unique features, akin to renowned architectural wonders like Watts Towers and Palais Idéal. These prints transport viewers back to the environment of the original Gankutsu Hotel from 1978.
