Roppongi Hills A/D Gallery
Finished

Artists

Hikari Masuda
Bear-themed tableware and ornaments, animal-painted vessels, Kokeshi Doll sake bottles, Daruma sake cups, and more.
Ceramic artist Masuda Hikari has created a wide variety of pieces with her free-flowing imagination and unwavering sculptural ability. Her free-spirited, unconventional designs gently stir our emotions and bring forth reactions of surprise and delight.
The theme of this exhibition is “And Yet…”
How does Masuda take and modify the nuances contained in words—the margins of uncertainty, the innermost truths, the various contradictions and fluctuations—into the forms she creates where beneath the playfulness and humor a layer of delicate emotion is laid bare. Come and see for yourself!
