Hiroko Kubo
Loko Gallery is pleased to present Hiroko Kubo's first solo exhibition in Tokyo, "Isaac" from December 9, 2022 to January 22, 2023.
Using folk art, prehistoric art, and the theories of cultural anthropology as her main sources of inspiration, Kubo uses familiar materials to create works based on her interest in agriculture and idols. In recent years, she has attracted attention for his large-scale installations at the Setouchi Triennale 2016, Rokko Meets Art 2017, and Saitama International Art Festival 2020.
