Hiroshi Mori creates parody works by combining existing images, such as drawings from classics, pop art masterpieces, anime, manga, and video games. In November last year, he held his first solo exhibition of three-dimensional work at Ginza Tsutaya, and in February this year, he held his first solo exhibition in Kansai at Okazaki Tsutaya in Kyoto.
The exhibition focuses on two-dimensional paintings that apply the conventional silk screening techniques that are Hiroshi Mori's forte, and can be described as a "return to his roots."
In addition, as a new experiment, the NFT art project “Mega" will also be exhibited. This project is a partnership between XYZA (https://xyza.io), an NFT creative collective studio that is gaining attention both in Japan and abroad, Hiroshi Mori, and CCC Art Lab, and is a new NFT artwork that combines retro games and Hiroshi Mori's original works. This NFT will be available on the XYZA (https://xyza.io) platform with an edition number of 100. In addition, NFT purchasers will receive a game cartridge featuring motifs from this work as a bonus.
