Artists

Hiroshi Nagai
Hiroshi Nagai, who began his career as an illustrator in 1976, has been active in various fields, including numerous record jackets and advertisements, continuing to be loved by many people since his iconic jacket artwork for Eiichi Ohtaki's masterpiece album "A Long Vacation." His works, depicting "ideal landscapes," have been cherished across generations and borders. His first self-recommended best collection, "The Journey Begins," published at the beginning of 2023, garnered attention, quickly selling out.

Now, the cover design of this book has been renewed, and an expanded and revised edition, with three additional artwork images personally selected by Hiroshi Nagai, will be published. Before its general release, Kyoto Tsutaya Books and Ginza Tsutaya Books will conduct advance sales starting from February 23 (Friday), along with exhibiting and selling new original paintings by Hiroshi Nagai. Furthermore, various events will be held during this period, including pre-orders for edition prints with online sales, talk events, and autograph sessions in Kyoto.
