The Fukushima Prefectural Museum of Art, opened in July 1984, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Starting with less than 600 pieces, its collection now exceeds 4,000 items. The exhibition reflects on the museum's history with its collection and materials from that time, and introduces its activities and work.
