Hong Kong Life Model Club

This exhibition【字 Characters】is a cross-media experiment in body narrative. The artists reinterpret the role of life models through a fusion of calligraphy, photography,and video. Centered around the theme of the body, this group exhibition brings together multiple artists who explore their own unique interpretation through media including calligraphy, photography and video. Created in collaboration with a calligrapher, photographers and a performance director, this project explores the human body as a narrative vessel.

In conjunction with this exhibition, we will be hosting events involving live performances, followed by figure drawing sessions on May 29th and 31st.We will present a performance that combines bodily expression and calligraphy, in which artists paint characters in ink directly onto the model’s body.After that we will conduct a special figure drawing session welcoming 6 models from the club.
Hong Kong Life Model Club provides a safe platform for life models to share work and philosophy. Through events like Body Fest, the club emphasizes that "everyone is beautiful," encouraging the public to let go of secular standards and liberate the self.
