In 2020, the global COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted Tokyo, a city that had rapidly developed due to internationalization and economic growth as the host of the Olympics. This shift from openness to closure influenced the lifestyle, environment, and values of its 13 million residents. Four artists documented these changes, capturing unique events on social media under the title "I was Here." The exhibition showcases their perspectives on the transformations and the role of individuals in leaving a mark on social media during significant events.
