Ichiro Kanai is a sculptor renowned for his "Kagerie" technique, which vividly brings Kenji Miyazawa's Night on the Galactic Railroad to life. His work involves layering black felt paper with tiny holes, creating a unique three-dimensional and transparent effect.nThis exhibition showcases 36 pieces from the Night on the Galactic Railroad series, including unpublished works, as well as lamps and diorama-like cityscapes with hidden lights.
