Artists

Ichiro Yamaguchi
Ichiro Yamaguchi humorously depicts animals and plants in clear colors. His powerful yet charming style, with beautifully drawn, generous lines and bold compositions, has been used as public art and in collaborations with many companies and has gained high popularity both in Japan and abroad. Recently, his work has been featured in the main visual for Muji Spring 2023 and on the covers of magazines and books such as Kurashi no Techo. While usually working out of Kagawa, he also engages in art activities with children and creates works at public facilities.

This exhibition, entitled "Spring," as the title suggests, features a total of 36 new works in a variety of exciting and colorful styles that are appropriate for the spring season. Many of Yamaguchi's works have been chosen as first pieces of artwork because of their pop and friendly patterns and sizes.
