This exhibition is being organized to commemorate the 90th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Dominican Republic and Japan.
The theme of the exhibition revolves around female friendship, strength, weakness, and endurance. Approximately 25 original paintings, inspired by the women of the Dominican Republic and the vibrant colors that adorn the countries of the Caribbean, will be on display, inviting visitors into the world of Iris Pérez Romero's art.
This marks the first time her works, exhibited in prominent galleries and museums in the United States, Europe, and Asia, will be showcased in Japan.
