Kaii Higashiyama and Hiroshi Senju Exhibition

Corasse Fukushima
Until May 10

Artists

Kaii Higashiyama, Hiroshi Senju
This exhibition is a special showcase of highly spiritual works by four masters of Japanese painting: Higashiyama Kaii, Sugiyama Yasushi, Takayama Tatsuo, and Senju Hiroshi, a representative of contemporary Japanese painting.
Centered around "tranquility" and "nature," the works weave a worldview that resonates deep within the soul. Highlights will include a special public viewing of the original paintings of Higashiyama Kaii's "Windy Beach" and Senju Hiroshi's "Waterfall." A total of 36 works will be on display, primarily by Higashiyama Kaii and Senju Hiroshi, but also including works by Sugiyama Yasushi and Takayama Tatsuo. This will be a rare opportunity to view these masterpieces, imbued with tranquility, up close.
In addition, a portion of the ticket proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to Fukushima Prefecture and Fukushima City, to help promote culture and the arts and support emotional recovery in Fukushima, which is marking 15 years since its recovery from the earthquake.
