Kirie is a technique that fully expresses the unique qualities of paper, utilizing the cuts and lines created by cutting paper with scissors or a knife. This exhibition will feature 105 works, including representative and new works by seven of Japan's leading female paper cutout artists: Hina Aoyama, SouMa, Yuna Chikushi, Risa Fukui, Masayo Fukuda, Maki Matsubara, and Kyoko Yanagisawa.
