The "Kiyosu City Haruhi Painting Triennale" began as the "Yumehiroba Haruhi Painting Exhibition" in 1999 with the opening of the Haruhi Museum, aiming to discover and commend emerging artists. Through changes such as transitioning from a biennial to a triennial format every three years and a turnover in judges, it has evolved into one of the gateways for two-dimensional works.

The "Artist Series" exhibition selectively highlights artists highly acclaimed in this open-call exhibition, featuring one artist at a time in a solo exhibition format.

This edition introduces Takako Ishikawa, a recipient of the 10th Kiyosu City Haruhi Painting Triennale award.
