This exhibition introduces emerging young artists active primarily in Kyoto, with the aim of showcasing them as the next generation of artists representing Kyoto to the world. Selected through recommendations from art universities, galleries, museum curators, and others, 41 young artists chosen by the selection committee will exhibit their works. Alongside the emerging artists with ties to Kyoto, the award-winning artist from the previous year's selection exhibition will be invited as a guest artist to present a special exhibition in a separate hall. This year, the exhibition features works inspired by "Innocent Infants," expressing a unique worldview, by Masumi Yamamoto.
