Shinjuku Ophthalmologist Gallery presents an exhibition featuring large paintings. Large-sized paintings are rarely in demand in the art market because there is a lack of space to display them in Japanese homes. However, this is not the case overseas. In addition, works featuring characters tend to be small, likely because they are based on the culture of the comic books. This exhibition aims to prove that character paintings are more than just "paintings with characters"; they can also be large and exhibited in museums.
