Artists

Lisa Larson
Lisa Larson (b. 1931) is a leading Swedish ceramic artist. Her simple and warm works, created in the rich nature of Scandinavia, featuring animals such as cats and lions, and children, have attracted fans from all over the world, and even now, at the age of 91, she continues to create one-of-a-kind pieces (unique pieces) while enjoying herself at her own pace.

In addition to the cute animals and serene figures that are synonymous with Larson's ceramics, the exhibition will also feature rare one-of-a-kind pieces that have never been introduced in Japan, works in other materials such as glass and bronze, and works by her husband, Gunnar Larson, a modernist painter who was an influence on her throughout her life. The exhibition will introduce the unknown world of Larson's creativity.
