Martin Berteloodt from France is holding a solo exhibition, “Morphosis" from 11/24 (Fri) to 26(Sin) at Contrast.
Over the past year and a half, he has delved deeper into the realms of palpable and visual expressions. Building upon A Contaminated Love Story, 2023, Morphosis further traverses the microscopic intricacies of sensuality and convoluted feelings. Evolving from dark surrealism, this exhibition portrays a more tangible dialogue between the grotesque and the beautiful, the chaotic and the serene.
Through Morphosis, he extends an invitation to explore an ensemble of mediums—statues, prints, photography, AR installations, performances, 3D printed masks, wearables, and a short film.
The journey begins on November 24th with an opening day entry fee of 1000 yen, accompanied by drinks, performances, and animation.
