This exhibition presents approximately twenty photographs taken for the book “Miteiru Dake de Jiritsushinkeiga Totono’u Uma no Shashin” (Nihon Bungeisha). Horses have long been regarded as sacred beings and have shared a deep relationship with humans throughout history. Murao captures their dignified presence and delicate sensitivity. The calm atmosphere within their powerful bodies and the gentleness that resides behind their gaze reflect our own emotions like a mirror. The exhibition title “Umazing!” is a coined word combining “Uma” (horse) and “Amazing.” It conveys warmth, humor, and strength, succinctly expressing the mysterious allure that the photographer perceives in the presence of horses.
