Masayoshi Sukita
A photo exhibition featuring the works of photographer Masayoshi Sukita at Kyoto Tsutaya Books. Sukita has captured iconic portraits of global musicians like David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Marc Bolan, and YMO, along with creating visual imagery for advertisements. Sukita's impactful works, built on deep trust from the artist's subjects, reflect the spirit of their time and continue to inspire creators worldwide.

The exhibition will showcase four pieces capturing private moments of David Bowie's 1980 visit to Kyoto, and five musician portraits including those of YMO and Kiyoshiro Imawano.

To mark the occasion, a special limited edition of the photo collection "Sukita Eternity" with prints will be available for reservation and sale in-store during the event. Additionally, an art tote bag featuring Sukita's 1970s work "Future" will be produced and sold.
