The Hosomi Museum Kyoto continues to present a wide variety of Japanese beauty to Japan and the rest of the world. An exhibition of outstanding works representing the collection will be held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the museum's opening.
The masterpieces passionately collected by three generations of the Hosomi family, beginning with the Showa-era industrialist Ryo Hosomi (Kokaan I, 1901-79), span a wide range of periods and fields of Japanese art history. This exhibition introduces the collection in five chapters, allowing visitors to appreciate the world of beauty that is unique to the Hosomi Museum.
