BnA_WALL is pleased to present Human Error, a solo exhibition by Japanese illustrator and artist Meriyas Midori. Alongside the exhibition, visitors will also have the opportunity to experience the artist's first large-scale 6 × 6 meter mural, created on-site at BnA_WALL. The mural production will be open to the public during the beginning of the exhibition.
Through monochrome figures and motifs, Meriyas Midori explores the relationship between humanity and technology. Inspired by the imperfections found in both the human body and digital systems, Human Error reflects on the beauty of distortion, uncertainty, and unexpected "errors." While the term "human error" is often associated with mistakes, the exhibition embraces these moments of imperfection as something deeply human and meaningful, suggesting that even AI and digital technologies possess their own forms of unpredictability. Known for her distinctive monochrome works that balance delicacy with strength, Meriyas Midori invites viewers to reconsider the value of creation in an increasingly efficient and automated world.
