Miho Ichise
Originally from Saitama Prefecture (now residing in Fukuoka), Miho Ichinose studied art at private studios and art schools in France before completing a foundation program at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, where she later earned a bachelor’s degree in painting. Since then, she has exhibited mainly across Europe, including in the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, the United States, Australia, Taiwan, and Singapore.
Ichinose’s work is driven by a desire to capture the excitement of discovering small but fresh surprises and wonders within everyday life. She is particularly drawn to expressing the strong yet quiet presence of objects that emerge between light and shadow.
While her works depict ordinary scenes, they transform into a glittering, enchanting world when viewed through her unique perspective.
