Hideharu Fukasaku Gallery Roppongi hosts an exhibition by Miyuki Ichijo. After working as an illustrator, Ichijo studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy in Germany. A long break from art followed Ichijo's return to Japan, but artistic activities have since resumed with greater energy and frequency. Ichijo’s diverse art practice includes oil paintings, drawings, prints, and installations using fabric. Often depicted are incomplete or unusually formed figures, reflecting modern anxieties and loneliness, yet also infused with a touch of humor. This exhibition showcases Ichijo’s experiences and reflections on both the self and the ever-changing world.
