PARALLEL CROSS GALLERY presents "OVER AND OVER," a solo project by painter Moena Kubo. Rather than displaying finished works, this 20-day project opens up the very process of creation, with the work changing and accumulating day by day. A single sheet of organza—translucent enough to reveal the scenery outside the gallery—is laid out in the space. Each day, the artist adds fabric, paints, and layers threads, setting small rules that carry over to the next day. What began as a single sheet of fabric gradually gains thickness through this daily accumulation. Under the changing light of day and night, the same work continually reveals different expressions.
