Mofu Mofu Collective
The Mofu Mofu Collective, founded by contemporary artist Kenji Yanobe, features members like Seibutsu Tadano who creates "Kedama," a concept that is somewhere between a living thing and an object, and Kyosuke Yamaguchi, who creates humanoid creatures. Their exhibition title "www" stands for "wonder warm wanderer," with "w" symbolizing laughter in internet slang. The term "mofu mofu," representing softness and warmth, originated from internet slang and has become a common way to describe fluffy things. The Mofu Mofu Collective is a gathering of all things that embody this soft and fluffy quality.
