On July 6, 2019, the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group was designated a World Heritage site. To commemorate the 5th anniversary of their inscription, a special exhibition will be held this summer to introduce more people to these ancient tombs.
The exhibition will primarily showcase recent archaeological findings since their inscription, highlighting the value and allure of the tumulus clusters, as well as the forefront of research and excavation. Additionally, there will be interactive corners designed for children to enjoy.
