Yu Onodera
Yu Onodera's works prominently feature a variety of animals and plants. The animals are depicted with a simple, rustic charm and sparkling eyes, while the vividly colored plants appear to move rhythmically. Onodera's dynamic compositions brim with the vigor of life. The artist's perspective on life and death underwent a profound transformation after the Great East Japan Earthquake. This exhibition presents around 25 pieces, including oil paintings that reflect these sentiments, along with concurrently produced copperplate prints.
