Shincho-sha Memorial Museum of Literature
Finished
Shingo Yamada (1908-1977), a prominent Japanese painter, was active primarily in the Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition) and received high acclaim, including the Minister of Education Award and the Japan Art Academy Award. He often painted scenes featuring mountains, clouds, and horses. This exhibition will showcase the book cover illustrations and illustrations created by Shingo Yamada for publications by Shinchosha, generously donated by his son.
