In 2018, Depetris journeyed 13,000 km from Nice, France, to Fukuoka, Japan, by car, train, and boat. Passing through diverse landscapes and cultures, from the plains of Russia to the bustling cities of China, the journey unfolded a continuous tapestry of natural and human contrasts, spanning time and space.
