Nihonga 2nd Lab - Drawing Exhibition

The University Art Museum - Tokyo University of the Arts
Finished
In the graduate school of Fine Arts, Department of Japanese Painting, the second research laboratory holds an annual "Sketch Exhibition" as part of its curriculum. Emphasizing a creative approach based on sketching, both students and faculty of the laboratory contribute their sketches for display.

This year's sketch exhibition is themed "Each Perspective," showcasing the words of each artist alongside their sketches. Additionally, sketches from a day-trip sketching excursion organized by the second research laboratory will also be exhibited as part of the collective project.

Keizaburo Okamura has been invited as a guest artist, presenting sketches created in environments different from our own, reflecting ongoing artistic endeavors. By including these diverse perspectives, the aim is to enrich the theme of "Each Perspective."
