"Nurturing Nodes in the Nook of an Odd Sock" is an international exhibition and global network project curated by artist-curator Yutaka Inagawa, featuring 19 artists selected through a unique curation process. Participating artists come from various countries and regions such as the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, China, Colombia, Germany, and Japan, with diverse current locations.
In this exhibition, Inagawa brings in his perspective and unique structures to experimentally rearrange the existing framework of exhibition-making, creating an unconventional exhibition space. The challenging curation actively reconfigures artworks from diverse cultural and historical backgrounds, encouraging various responses including the agreement of participating artists, aiming to transcend the existing societal framework and create a collaborative effort.
Throughout the exhibition period, there will be talk sessions and workshops exploring the potential of networking through art activities and forming local communities, aiming for a fluid and multi-layered network rather than a single endpoint.
