Kaoru Taguchi is a Christian creating works of art on the subjects of religion and faith. Her pictures, which quote historical iconography based on meticulous research, incorporate a variety of pictorial spaces taken from the Middle Ages, Eastern art, modern art, and elsewhere, compressing multiple temporal axes into a single work.
