The future cannot be predicted, but hints of the future can be found in the past. In this exhibition, visitors can rediscover the charm of Japan and the value of design rediscovered by creators. In an era of uncertainty and chaos, Japan's potential to forge ahead lies within its cultivated culture, technology, and the designs it has produced.
In this exhibition, works from seven companies affiliated with the Organization of Advertising Creation (OAC) will be displayed, along with selected works from public submissions (13 graphics & 3 films), and the underlying "thinking" behind design cultivated in Japan will be introduced. Additionally, on May 18 and 19, there will be a performance of hako shibai, using exhibition pieces by OAC creators. This involves depicting fragments of several familiar folktales within a box that transforms in various ways.
