We are pleased to announce Rina Maeda's solo exhibition "Tide Land." Maeda is based in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, and creates photographic works. Maeda focuses on the boundary between herself and others in her creative process. The basic theme of her works is "Where is the distinction between oneself and others?" and "Why you are you and I am not you?" Boundaries are the way to shape ourselves and recognize others, or rather, they may be seen as contours. In this exhibition, we will present new works from three series of works on the theme of traces and time: Cosmic, Hotline, and Stamp Man. Each of these series of works is inspired by the ideas of forgetting, rotation, and mass production. We hope you will take this opportunity to view Maeda's work, which won the Tokyo Frontline 2021 Grand Prix.
