Sakai Plaza of Rikyu and Akiko
Finished

Artists

Sumaco Yasui
This exhibition focuses on the works of Sumaco Yasui, a copperplate artist and goodwill ambassador of Sakai. It reflects on her 40-year artistic journey, showcasing a wide range of her copperplate prints, illustrations, and other works from the early years to the present.

Through the delicate and rigid lines unique to copperplate prints and the soft, subtle colors of hand coloring (pastels), you can enjoy Sumako Yasui's dreams (world) depicted in trees, flowers, young girls, and more.

Additionally, there will be related events to enhance the enjoyment of the exhibition.
