2T4T is a two-person exhibition by Takuya Fukada and Satoshi Niwa, both graduates of Kanazawa College of Art and Crafts, who continue to create works in Kanazawa.

Fukada reconstructs weathered iron signs and structures found in everyday landscapes as future ruins, even after losing their original purpose and function. On the other hand, Niwa sculpts the forms of everyday consumer goods consumed daily, using stone as a material, as if excavating traces of modern people's daily lives from geological layers.

The title of this exhibition, "2T4T," comes from the code representing the maximum load capacity of trucks, namely 2 tons and 4 tons.

While the term "2T4T" is rarely touched upon in everyday conversation, it represents a physical issue such as the transportation and setup of artworks that always exists in the process leading up to the exhibition. Similarly, it aims to shed light on phenomena that are transparent and buried daily life, encouraging people to refocus on them.
