In December 1998, eight cultural assets including Todai-ji Temple, Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Gango-ji Temple, Yakushi-ji Temple, Toshodai-ji Temple, Kasugayama Primeval Forest, and the remains of Heijo Palace were registered as "Cultural Properties of Ancient Nara" on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In commemoration of the 25th anniversary this year, the exhibition will showcase scenes from approximately 70 years ago of the registered cultural assets through works by Irie.
