Among the living national treasures associated with Shiga Prefecture, this exhibition will introduce Shimizu Uichi (iron glazed ceramics), Kako Moriguchi (yuzen), and Fukumi Shimura (tsumugi weaving), all of whom are collectively represented in the collection. Also on display are Shigaraki ware work by Naokata Ueda (5th generation) and Rakusai Takahashi (3rd generation).
