Shinichiro Kobayashi
A solo exhibition by photographer Shinichiro Kobayashi, who captures Japan's abandoned buildings from a unique angle. Kobayashi is known as a pioneer who initiated the ruin boom by documenting the beauty hidden in ruins resulting from years of deterioration and corrosion. The exhibition showcases Daishinbutsu, a collection of eccentric and eerie photos featuring Buddha statues scattered across Japan. These mystical figures, crafted for religious devotion or as tourist attractions, embody passionate beliefs and create a surreal world within our own.
